Abbie Cornish hot Her career began at age thirteen when she began taking jobs as a model after reaching the finals of a Dolly magazine competition.By when he was sixteen, Cornish juggle acting roles in television study for the HSC, with the intention to pursue a career as a veterinarian. In 1999, Cornwall has received the Australian Film Institute Young Actor for his role in ABC TV Wildside and soon he was offered his first role in a movie, the monkey mask. At seventeen, Cornish traveled across the United States and Western Europe for six months before returning to a career as an actress. In 2004, Cornwall appeared in the award-winning short Everything goes with Hugo Weaving. Received from the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actress at FCCA and IF Awards and Best Actor in 2005 at the Miami International Film Festival for her role in Somersault in 2004, the film amounts to international recognition. Cornish received critical acclaim for her role in 2006 by Candy, who played with Heath Ledger, and played in a good year, Elizabeth: The Golden Age and the latest film from Kimberly Peirce, Stop-Loss. Cornish is set to star as Catherine Earnshaw in the upcoming film adaptation of Wuthering Heights 2009/2010, but was replaced by Gemma Arterton.
